CNA – Emergency Department Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Emergency Department (ED) team as a Technician. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 4 on, 4 off schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. An ASAP start date is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in patient care activities within the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Support patients with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and mobility.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Perform basic medical tasks under the supervision of nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department or similar clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
