Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OR Tech to join our operating room team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures.

Key Details

• Shift Type: Day/Evening
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Experience Required: 2 years
• Certifications Required: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine
• Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
• Call Requirement: 1-2 weeknights per week; weekend call approximately once a month

Responsibilities

The OR Tech will be part of a dedicated team responsible for:

• Assisting with various surgical procedures, including CVOR, ortho, general/vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma cases.
• Following protocols to ensure patient safety and support the surgical team.
• Collaborating with the clinical supervisor and other nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.

Shift Notes

• Ratios: 1 to 1
• EMR System: Cerner Surginet
• Orientation: 1 shift with preceptor

Additional Information

This position does not require floating to other units, and the OR tech will primarily work in the operating room area. We are looking for a candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills.
