Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the NICU/Peds unit is responsible for providing respiratory care services in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. This position includes managing and operating advanced respiratory therapy equipment independently.

Responsibilities:

• Independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using the Servo U ventilator.
• Setup and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures.
• Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation, including use of biPAP and CPAP.
• Neonatal skills including Bubble CPAP, and use of nitric oxide and high frequency ventilation.

Requirements:

• 1+ year Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience.
• PALS certification.
