Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in pediatric care. The role involves critical care ventilator management and respiratory disease management for the pediatric population, including the delivery of medications and all respiratory therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage critical care ventilators and non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC).
• Administer medical gases and manage patients with respiratory diseases, including medication delivery and therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in patient care in a PICU setting and with patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
• Participate in ECMO and specialized gas programs, including Nitric Oxide and Heliox.
• Float to various units such as ER, MedSurg, Oncology, and PICU as needed.

Requirements:

• 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years.
• BLS, PALS, RRT certifications, and a current WA state license.
• Proficiency in using EPIC EMR and critical care skills including ABG (GEM).
• Experience with pediatric cardiac ICU patient care is preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
