Job Description:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position focusing on pediatric care within a 153 total bed Level II trauma center with a Level IV NICU. The role involves critical care ventilator management, use of NIV (CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC), and management of respiratory diseases in pediatric patients. Responsibilities include delivering medications and performing all respiratory therapeutic interventions, with a preference for experience in Peds Cardiac ICU.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care ventilator management.
• Manage pediatric respiratory diseases and perform therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver medications and utilize specialized gases like Nitric Oxide and Heliox.
• Participate in ECMO and Cardiac Programs.
• Float across units such as ER, MedSurg, Oncology, and PICU as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year PICU experience within the last 5 years.
• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, WA state license.
• Required skills: critical care ventilator management, NIV use, ABG (GEM).
• Experience with EMR: EPIC.
• Able to work a schedule that includes every other weekend rotation.
