Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will perform respiratory care procedures, patients assessments, and provide airway management using a variety of techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic floor therapies such as nebulizer treatments, CPT, and nocturnal pulse oximetry.
Obtain arterial blood gases and manage Bipap.
Assist in procedures such as HHN, Bipap and vent management, and extubation.
Float to areas including CICU, SICU, MICU, and step-down units as needed.

Requirements:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with EPOC Blood Gases, PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, and V60 equipment.
Experience using EMR – Meditech
