Respiratory Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care to patients requiring respiratory support and services, working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as directed by medical staff.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed.
• Utilize various types of respiratory equipment including Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Maintain compliance with best practices and unit protocols.

Unit Information

The unit provides a total bed capacity of 383, staffed by experienced professionals dedicated to patient care.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following:

• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• NRP or STABLE certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant respiratory role.

Preferred qualifications include:

• ICU experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR.

Work Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, providing excellent opportunities for skill development and teamwork.
