Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in a clinical setting. The role involves managing respiratory treatments, including critical care ventilator management and administering respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage critical care ventilators and provide pediatric respiratory disease management.
• Deliver medications and respiratory therapeutic interventions.
• Caring for pediatric patients who have undergone open-heart procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years.
• BLS, PALS, RRT, and WA state license (must be in hand or have proof of application 6+ weeks ago).
• Proficiency in critical care ventilator management and respiratory disease management for the pediatric population.
• Experience with ABG (GEM) and use of NIV (CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC).
• EPIC EMR experience required.
