Respiratory Therapist – PEDS12H Nights

City/State: Tacoma, Washington

Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist in this role will provide expertise in pediatric respiratory care, including critical care ventilator management, non-invasive ventilation, and management of respiratory diseases in pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

Critical care ventilator management
Use of NIV (CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC)
Management of respiratory diseases in pediatric populations, including medication delivery and therapeutic interventions
Participate in specialized care programs, including Cystic Fibrosis, chronic trach/vent populations, ECMO, and cardiac programs

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years
Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, WA state license (must be in hand or proof of application submitted 6+ weeks ago)
Experience with ABG (GEM) and preferable experience in Peds Cardiac ICU
Experience with EPIC EMR
Consideration for 1st time travelers with 5 years of experience and 2 recent PICU engagements
