Job Description:

This role involves assisting in the Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room primarily as a 1st Scrub, working with surgical team members to handle supplies and instruments for cardiovascular procedures, including managing counts and supporting back table setups.

Responsibilities:

• Perform 1st scrub duties, handing supplies to the surgeon and counting instruments.
• Assist as needed with 2nd scrub duties, including counts and back table management.
• Support general OR when not engaged in CVOR tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotation, with one call shift per week and availability for two weekends in a six-week period.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room experience, primarily in the 1st Scrub role.
• Required certifications: CST, BLS, WA State License.
• Experience with EMR system EPIC.
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes for call shifts.
