Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech) in the Pediatric Cardiac OR is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for complex cardiovascular procedures in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU. The role requires expertise in handling supplies, counting instruments, as well as assisting in the surgical field, primarily in the first scrub role.

Responsibilities:

Handing supplies to surgeon and counting instruments during surgical procedures.
Participation in patient case management including neonatal to adult-sized patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
Floating to assist General OR when not occupied in CVOR.
Participating in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience in the 1st Scrub Role.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS), WA State License.
Experience with EPIC EMR system.
Availability for a 30-minute response time for on-call duties.
