Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech) will be part of the OR Heart Team, working primarily in cardiac operating rooms in support of complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Work in a team setting, consisting of two RNs and one CST Tech during the day shift.
• Manage patient care equipment, including GE/Stryker systems.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech/CPN EMR systems.
• Maintain communication and coordination with staff and providers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience.
• Current BLS, DORA, and NBSTA certifications.
• Proficiency in Open Heart experience.
• Flexibility to float within 25 miles of the facility when needed.
