Position Overview

The Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate preparation and dispensing of medication to patients, ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with healthcare providers to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications accurately, ensuring precision in dosages and formulations.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding drug therapy and medication management.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Participate in medication therapy management and other pharmaceutical care services.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
