• Number of Beds: 285
• Staffing Description: Decentralized pharmacist model with 5 technicians on day shift, 1 mid-shift, 2 evening shifts, and 2 overnight shifts
• Type of Equipment Utilized: Pyxis ES, Dose Edge
• Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling and Requirements

• Workdays include a combination of day and evening shifts.
• Weekends will be required; no overnight shifts are necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Refilling Pyxis machines
• Filling first doses
• IV sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Packaging unit dose medications
• Assisting pharmacists as needed
• Refilling code blue trays
• Handling phone inquiries

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current and active Missouri technician license in good standing is required
• Advanced Skills: Familiarity with Pyxis ES, Meditech, and Dose Edge is preferred
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting is recommended

Dress Code

Clean scrubs are required as part of the uniform.
