Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry to provide care for patients in Unit 5 East. The unit handles mixed patient acuity with some post-surgical cases, including ortho/spine with M/S/ Tele overflow.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients with a 5:1 RN ratio
Administer medications including Heparin drips and TPN
Interpret telemetry rhythms
Float to all acute care units as required
Work every other weekend as needed

Requirements:

2+ years recent experience in ortho/spine and Telemetry within the last 18 months
Experience with a variety of surgical specializations including General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, and Spine
Familiarity with conditions such as cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones
KS RN or Compact license, ACLS & BLS certification
Available to attend initial and ongoing orientation as scheduled
