Job Description:
Registered Nurse in Telemetry unit responsible for monitoring and interpreting patient’s heart rhythms, providing care following established standards and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient heart rhythms and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Administer medication and treatments as per physician orders.
- Document patient care and outcomes in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and when to seek urgent medical attention.
Requirements:
- Active IL RN license
- ACLS/BLS certification
- Must pass an EKG test first day of orientation
- Experience: 1 travel contract completed
