Job Description:

This role involves working in the Intermediate Care unit at a medical center, providing nursing care to patients using telemetry equipment. The nurse will be part of a team managing patient ratios, utilizing PCA and IV pumps, and supporting heart catheterization recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor telemetry equipment and patient status.
• Provide care for heart catheterization recovery patients and manage medication drips.
• Utilize PCA pumps, IV pumps, and other specified medical equipment effectively.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in Meditech EMR system.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale knowledge is a plus.
