Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Location: Evanston, IL

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will exhibit a strong background in stroke and neuro care, providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Float to other units as needed within the organization.
• Participate in required every other weekend and holiday shifts.

Orientation Schedule:

Orientation will occur every Monday, and includes an EKG test on the first day.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in stroke and neuro care.
• Preferred: 2+ years of travel nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Passing EKG test.
• Not accepting new graduates for this position.

Schedule Details:

• 12-hour night shifts.
• Floating to other units may be necessary.
