Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role includes supervising and directing various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion.

Requirements

• Night Shift: 36 or 48-hour schedules
• EPIC experience is REQUIRED
• Holiday time-off requests will not be approved

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required
