Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Requirements

• Night Shift – 36 or 48 hours
• EPIC experience required
• Holiday time-off requests not approved

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility – Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS – Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS – Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS – Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification – Required
