Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac/Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiac/Telemetry unit. The RN will primarily work on the 4 South Cardiac unit while also floating to various Med-Surg areas, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders, as needed.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Every other weekend required

Call Requirements

No call requirement.

Certifications

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Step-down experience. The RN should be proficient in reading telemetry and will complete a telemetry competency on the first day. Passing this competency is mandatory for assignment continuation.

Epic EMR Proficiency

Current Epic EMR proficiency is required and must be clearly documented. No refresher training or one-on-one assistance will be provided.
