Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

• Location: Dupont, IN
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Number of Beds: 25 beds with a 12-bed overflow unit
• Floating: Required
• Block Scheduling: Option available
• Scrubs: Navy Blue

Responsibilities

The Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing quality care to patients with various medical diagnoses.
• Starting IVs, placing NG tubes, inserting Foley catheters, and caring for patients requiring continuous bladder irrigation.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate patient records using the Cerner EMR system.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
