Telemetry Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Nurse to join our team. This full-time position consists of 12-hour night shifts and requires availability for holidays and every other weekend. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Float to similar units as needed based on staffing requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care hospital.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

• Non-billable orientation is required for 12 hours.
• Orientation sessions are held on Mondays.
• All credentials must be submitted by the Thursday prior to the start date.
