Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in various medical surgical and telemetry units. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Contract Length: 6 weeks
• Shift Hours: Days, 7 AM – 7 PM
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor patient conditions and administer prescribed medications
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in patient education and support
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and other care coordination needs
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical or telemetry nursing
• Skills: Must be able to perform EKGs on the first day of employment
• Licenses/Certifications: Must have a valid Illinois Nursing License and BLS certification
• New Graduates: Not accepted

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be willing to float to all medical surgical and telemetry units. A thorough understanding of patient care protocols and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role.
