Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that values strong teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures such as post-cath patients (excluding sheath removal) and those with pacemaker placements.
• Manage and administer medications including amiodarone and Cardizem drips, as well as care for stroke patients.
• Utilize advanced telemetry techniques to monitor patients and respond to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• ACLS Certification
• Experience in recovering post-cath patients and managing cardiac drips

Preferred Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Dress Code

Grey scrubs are required for all Registered Nurses.

Schedule

This position includes 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule, which may include Friday and Saturday nights or Saturday and Sunday day shifts.

Floating Areas

Staff may float to other telemetry departments, medical-surgical units, or progressive care units as needed.
