Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in Telemetry is responsible for caring for patients with various cardiac conditions, administering cardiac drips, and conducting neuro checks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for telemetry patients and administer cardiac drips such as Cardizem or Amiodarone.
- Perform competent NIH and neuro checks for stroke patients.
- Float to any tele/med surg department as needed.
- Work every other weekend (Fri & Sat nights).
Requirements:
- Experience with telemetry patients and cardiac drips.
- Experience caring for stroke patients.
- License/Certification: RN; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
