Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse primarily working on the Respiratory unit, where patients with COVID-19 are admitted. The RN may also be required to float between various Medical-Surgical units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Shift Information

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, focusing on respiratory conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed to support patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing.
• Proficient in Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR); proficiency must be documented and verified.
• Ability to read Telemetry; competency will be assessed upon hire.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required for this position. There is no on-call requirement associated with this role.
