Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Step-Down unit is responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients requiring a step-down level of care. This role involves working night shifts, specifically on a 12-hour schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, including holiday and weekend rotation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients meeting the Medical Step-Down level of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care or step-down nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or another professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
• At least 2 years of experience in critical care or step-down nursing.
