Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes responsibilities such as monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care.

Shift Details

Day Shift: 0700 to 1930

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a medical-surgical setting.
• Float to medical-surgical units as needed.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage care plans effectively.
• Use electronic health records (Epic) for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent: Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing: Preferred.
• Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course: Preferred.
• Completion of Critical Care Course: Preferred.
• 6 months of cardiac step-down or telemetry experience in the last 2 years: Preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice: Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
• NIHSS certification: Required within 6 months of hire.
