Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (PCU/Stepdown)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ conditions.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Progressive Care or Stepdown.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or Compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
• Ability to float to multiple locations within the region as needed.

Location

The position may require travel to various locations within Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH.
