Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable nurses to work in the dynamic environment of Diagnostic Imaging. This position is located at a new ambulatory orthopedic center and involves the preparation of patients for various imaging studies including CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT and MRI scans and nuclear medicine studies.
• Administer contrast materials as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and assessment skills in patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and proficiency in IV skills.
• Experience with contrast administration is advantageous.

Certifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are preferred.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Schedule

This position involves rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and may require on-call availability.
