Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our team in a child and adolescent unit dedicated to providing care for patients aged 5-18 years who are experiencing acute mental health crises. This unit emphasizes stabilization through an array of group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, in addition to psychopharmacological interventions. RNs will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and ensure safe, effective, and therapeutic care.

Schedule

Our positions require a commitment to 36 or 48 hours per week, including rotating day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays as per unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN License
• Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric mental health
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified in nonviolent crisis intervention (CPI blue card)
• Experience in a large academic medical center
