Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join the Senior Behavioral Health Unit. This is a travel position requiring a commitment for 13 weeks, with night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to clinical protocols.
• Engage in de-escalation techniques as needed to support patient stability.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health or Geriatric Psychiatric Unit in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in de-escalation techniques, SAMA or CPI certified.

Location

Position available in a facility located in a city within the state.
