Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Position Summary

This position involves providing exceptional nursing care in a behavioral health setting. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal health outcomes for individuals facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to individuals experiencing behavioral health issues.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
• Document patient progress and changes in behavior or condition accurately.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on behavioral health preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
