Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will be committed to providing the highest quality of care to critically ill children and will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Unit Information

• Scrub Color: Navy blue or white
• Number of Beds: 9
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 1-2 patients in PICU; 1 RN to 2-3 patients in Stepdown
• Unit Staffing: Health Unit Coordinator available 9 AM – 9 PM; Technicians shared with PICU
• Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Floating Policy: May float to Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience required
• Current PALS certification
• Advanced skills in IV starts, catheter procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management

Scheduling Requirements

Candidates must be available to work 3 weekends within a 6-week scheduling period. Flexible self-scheduling options are available.
