Job Overview

The Pediatric Emergency Department provides family-centered care for patients under the age of 19 with urgent and emergent medical issues. This facility is recognized as a Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center. The department includes 18 general care beds, 1 critical care bed, 4 urgent care beds, and a shared 7-bed trauma bay with the adult emergency department. The team is trained to manage a diverse range of cases, from treat-and-release situations to acute critical care and trauma, in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• New York RN license
• NIHSS certification

Preferred:

• Burn care experience
• TNCC certification
• ATCN certification
• ABLS certification
