Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients with cardiac conditions in a critical care setting. • Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Start Date: Tuesday start dates
• Contract Type: Travel

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the cardiac intensive care unit.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Educate families and caregivers about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric cardiac intensive care nursing.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BCLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
