Job Title: Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Description:

The role involves providing nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit, a unit equipped with IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts. The unit operates with a 44-bed capacity and maintains a patient-to-staff ratio of 4/1 at grid or 5/1 when stretched. Care is coordinated using the EMR system Cerner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placement, TLSO braces.
• Administer chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumber drains, feeding tube placements, and blood transfusions.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care.
