Job Description:

Registered Nurse in a mixed Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU unit, responsible for patient care and treatment administration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in an acute care setting with a focus on oncology and trauma patients.
• Administer medications and manage drips such as insulin and cardizem when required.
• Float between PCU and MedSurg units as needed.
• Participate in patient care activities, including IV pump management with Alaris and utilizing specialty equipment.
• Engage in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), ONS/ONCC preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology and PCU nursing.
• Comfortable with EMR system EPIC.
• Ability to work every other weekend and occasional night shifts.
• Familiarity with RT equipment and hemodynamic monitoring is a plus.
• Adherence to hospital policies, including artificial nail policy.
