Job Description:

This position involves working on a mixed unit providing care primarily to Oncology and Trauma PCU patients. The unit supports a high level of patient care with a focus on teamwork and respect for diversity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the PCU and MedSurg units.
• Administer medications including chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, protonix, and titrate drips as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in hourly rounding and provide high-quality patient care and experience.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year experience in PCU and Oncology.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Competency in ventilator operation and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and adapt to a dynamic care environment.
