Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring and intervention. The nurse will work primarily night shifts and be part of a team that ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care and monitoring for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient well-being.
• Float to a lesser unit as needed.

Requirements:

• 1 year of PCU RN experience required.
• High acuity drip experience preferred.
• Experience with arterial line, bipap-airvo preferred.
• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and major holidays.
