Contract Length: 3 weeks

Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit responsible for providing advanced nursing care to patients requiring moderate observation and frequent monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to critically ill patients requiring higher than regular acute care but less than intensive care.
• Monitor vital signs and apply suitable interventions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.

Requirements:

• 1 year of PCU RN experience
• RN, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• High acuity drip experience preferred
• Experience with arterial lines, bipap-airvo is preferred
• First to float to a lesser unit as needed
• Work every other weekend and major holidays
