Job Description:

Provide primary nursing care in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit, which includes 3 step down ICU and 12 telemetry beds. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and performing fingerstick blood sugar tests.

Responsibilities:

• Primary Nursing care
• Telemetry monitoring
• Telemetry strip reading
• Fingerstick blood sugar testing
• Floating to all acute units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
• Current PALS preferred
• ACLS preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
• State of Hawaii License required by start of the assignment
