Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for Progressive Care Unit. Responsible for providing high-quality care to patients within the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and administering cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips.
• Performing procedures such as peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube insertions.
• Interpreting EKG rhythms and providing post-cardiac cath care.
• Performing central line dressing changes and troubleshooting wound vacs.

Requirements:

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in critical thinking skills and EKG rhythm interpretation.
• Experience with bipaps, high flow O2, and various oxygen delivery systems.
• Preferred experience with peritoneal dialysis, tube feedings, and NG/dobhoff tubes.
