Job Description:

The RN in the PCU unit will provide care to patients with a focus on oncology and trauma. The role requires chemotherapy certification with a preference for experienced RNs. Candidates should be prepared for a mixed unit with both PCU and Med/Surg patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a PCU setting with attention to oncology and trauma.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, RN case managers, and social work.
• Float to Med/Surg and PCU units as needed.

Requirements:

• Active RN license with ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications.
• ONS/ONCC certification for chemotherapy administration.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, ideally with oncology and trauma exposure.
• Familiarity with ventilator use, hemodynamic monitoring, and EPIC EMR.
• Compliance with facility policies, including artificial nail prohibition in patient care departments.
