Job Description:

Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac surgery stepdown patients, including CV surgery, vascular surgery, and cardiology overflow with diagnoses such as heart failure and chest pain. Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on team collaboration and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Manage epidurals and chest tubes.
• Perform tube feedings and oversee cardiac gtt management.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) via Cerner.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Stepdown and telemetry experience.
• Preferred prior experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery populations.
