Job Description:

The role involves providing patient care in a Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit, focusing on CV surgery and vascular surgery patients, including those undergoing open heart surgery and thoracic lung surgery. The RN will manage stepdown and telemetry patients.

Responsibilities:

• Epidural management
• Chest tube management
• Tube feedings
• IV gluccomander
• Cardiac gtt management (e.g., phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

Requirements:

• Stepdown experience
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
