Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role requires expertise in providing care for patients requiring step-down or intermediate care, focusing on their recovery and well-being.

Schedule

• Varied schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care or similar specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification

Location

Position available in various locations within the region, specifically in City, State.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in the PCU
• Monitor patient conditions, assessing for changes and reporting to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies
