• Number of Beds: 44
• Staffing: 95 employees
• Patient Ratios: 4 patients per nurse; 5 patients per nurse when stretched

• PCA Pumps
• Chest Tubes
• Tracheostomy Care
• Patient Lifts
• EMR System: Cerner

Qualifications

Required Skills

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Neuro and Trauma Care experience

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience in Neuro and Trauma Care

Typical Procedures

• Neuro and spinal checks
• C-Collar placement and TLSO braces
• Chest tube management
• PCA pump management
• IV infusions
• Lumbar drain placement
• Feeding tube placement
• Blood transfusions

Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required

Candidates may be required to float to stepdown units and medical-surgical units.
