Registered Nurse – Progressive Care

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of complex patient conditions and possess strong critical thinking and clinical skills.

Unit Information

• Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Bed Capacity: 16-10 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients

Patient Population

The Registered Nurse will care for patients with the following conditions:

• Sepsis
• Heart Failure
• Hypertensive Emergency
• Respiratory Failure
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2)
• Substance Abuse
• Encephalopathy
• Administration of Heparin Drips

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar nursing role
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
